We know that many building owners want to do their part in preserving the environment and conserving energy, but conventional geothermal systems have been significantly more expensive and complicated than standard HVAC systems.
EarthPoint provides a complete and unique geothermal solution—without any upfront costs. We install a complete loop system under the ground that will deliver energy stored in the earth to your building or school. Traditionally, installation costs and contracting details have made it virtually impossible for building owners to go the geothermal route, until now...
Only EarthPoint rolls the thermal energy installation costs into a low, fixed monthly payment. Instead of paying your monthly gas bill, you'll be paying for access to clean, secure and domestic thermal energy that will never run out.
We not only ensure that your energy bill will never increase, we make sure our loop system is designed specifically for your building. Plus, you never have to worry about our loop system—we are responsible for it for life.
Geothermal heating and cooling systems, combined with complementary systems and practices typical in geothermal installations, have the ability to impact to 37 points under LEED 2009 for New Construction and Major Renovation.
An EarthPoint geothermal system uses solar energy stored in the ground to heat and cool buildings. Six feet below its surface, the earth's temperature remains a constant 55°F, which means that the ground around your building holds a steady supply of energy—enough to heat and cool it all year round.
There are 3 components to an EarthPoint system:
In the winter, a liquid solution is circulated through the ground pipes, absorbing heat from the ground and transferring it to the heat pump. The pump then circulates the heat throughout your building via the distribution system, which consists of standard ductwork and radiator or in-floor radiant tubing system.
In the summer, the system reverses. Heat is taken from the building and transferred to the ground pipes. The earth absorbs the heat and the pipes return a cooler fluid to the building. The distribution system then circulates the cold air.
Heat and cool your house with geothermal energy! Reduce summer grid load with a geothermal system for cooling, while reducing your winter heating bills by eliminating fossil fuels from your heating equation.
Savings! Environmental benefits! Comfort! And more. There are many reasons to "Go Geo", read about them here.
